Beautiful people do not just happen: A poem by R. N. Padhy

Image
It takes time to build castles Pyramids are not built in a day, To make something most beautiful Some take strains in a complete way. Plants look colorful with decent flowers Their fragrance spreads in the air, The gardener must be praiseworthy Who takes their care from the chair. So are the lives of human beings Who bear all pains to make life scented, Beautiful people do not just happen They care with the dare to get their lives nicely painted. With parents sacrifice and nature's blessing Human plants grow bulky in size, Divine grace and perseverance Makes people beautiful, healthy and wise. Self-help is the best help Beautiful people know it well, They do the needful in good time To ring their lives victory bell.

Holi: A poem by Krishna Kumari

A beautiful soul: A poem by Mir Samsul Haque

When morality navigates one Producing a string of tangible results One steers ahead against tumultuous tides A landslide victory on the brink of silent vaults Beautiful people aren't a happenstance Like precious pearls, they are peerless They're great by dint of their great deeds Their vivacious ventures make them timeless A noble man with sincere passions Securing a benevolent heart within Thwarting the throes of life in his mission Spring vibes he senses in autumn season Stalwarts have scripted success worthwhile Burning like candles day and night Their sheer commitment and hellbent resolution Herald bliss and happiness with all might Beautiful souls have mesmerised the world On the face of fall, they show solid solidarity Their blithe essence is a grace for the mankind They lead the world with utter certainty

Beautiful people do not just happen.: A poem by Sujatha Sairam

Acres and acres of property, Millions and millions of currency, A crowd of people as followers, An array of cars in the garage  Merely speak of a person's social status. What really counts and speaks about them is their character. Humility, generosity, politeness blended with lots of love  Mould a person's real character. Character lightens up and beautifies the inner self, This beauty attracts those who come in contact. To make this beauty last till eternity, One must forge and hammer oneself into it For character is what God and the angels know of us. That's why it's oft quoted Beautiful people do not just happen.

Beautiful people do not just happen: A poem by Jellie N.Wyckelsma

Folks only knew her as a rich old lady, Who lived in a house all alone. She seldom ventured into town and rescued Stray cats and dogs, taking them home. When some townspeople fell on hard times, or when parents Were too poor to buy their children a single toy, Money suddenly appeared in their bank accounts, And their children smiled again and shrieked with joy. But who she really was, remained a mystery, Until the day she passed away. It became known, She had been a child Holocaust survivor, Who had seen more than any child should, And had made it her aim in life, To always help others in distress or in strife.   , The Mayor spoke briefly at her grave, “Beautiful people do not just happen … She tried to undo the wrong she had suffered. Because despite all, she loved mankind dearly.” And as the first spade of soil slowly fell, Everyone let their tears flow freely.

Beautiful people do not just happen: A poem by Ngozi Olivia Osuoha

Beauty is inbuilt, it is within The physical is a deceit, Beautiful people have an amazing spirit That is what makes them excellent. Beautiful people may not have money But they are rich and willing to give They are generous even with nothing These people value life and love. Sometimes, beautiful people do not just happen We pay some due to let them shine, Their heart is golden, pure and free Nothing stains them no matter who hurts them. These people hardly complain they flow like water Taking the shape of the container They may be tattered, shattered and haggard Yet, their mind is the dwelling place of God.

Sheer retrospection: A poem by Mir Samsul Haque

Image
When I look into my  eyes , I behold both veracity and sanity A solid purpose of life is envisioned with all sincerity I realize resoundingly life's realities and the purpose of very living I can sort out mundane modalities, make my moments cherishing I uphold a clear vision reckoning to summum bonum of life for the whole being I delve deep into poor life's sordid story and some shabby details Yet I redirect my self according to conscience's compass that curtails I make an earnest treaty with my ever-evolving soul that always entails I clearly demarcate the threshold of evil and vice through the prism of profundity Once I shoot my sobre sight sans sousi, reigning in the territory of utter certainty Ofttimes I look into my eyes to harmonize my mind, muse, and imagination A poetic fervidity I aspire with a crop of desire for my eternal elevation I seek solutions at the helm of affairs freeing myself from desperation My simmering vision stabilizes my boiling mind like

When I look into my eyes: A poem by Monika Kapur

When I look into my eyes, I could see the compassion of a mother The unconditional love for the kids The plethora  of emotions, undeterred When I look into my eyes, I see a doting wife smiling, A companion, an equal of my husband, Her charm and wit beguiling  When I look into my eyes, I see a never aging, free-spirited woman Ready to dance in rain even now, A little girl at heart, an angel disguised as human  When I look into my eyes, I see I could tame the violence of storms  I am continuous rain of self-love  I am the resplendent sun that drenched the soul with warmth

Unity in diversity: A poem by Kishor Kumar Mishra

A divine land on this earth Where all religions coexist With the song of secularism. A sacred and peaceful land Where all the communities Believe in staying together. A land rich in civilized culture Where all religious scriptures Teach the same belief and faith. A beloved land of supreme soul Where temple, church, mosque Find themselves side by side. A land of varied language Where language of love Bridges the gap as interpreter. A land that preserves equality Among all caste, creed, color By the strong pillar of justice. The land is my motherland Shining with "Unity in Diversity".

Bravery is his definition Resilience is his greatest strength Patience is his power Love for his country is his strongest emotion The nation looks at him for protection And he answers each call unfailingly Without a thought for his dear ones He sacrifices himself for ours He is our guardian angel We owe him each moment of peace His blood is purest Because it flows to cleanse evil He wears Olive Green with pride Whether Hindu, Sikh or Christian From the North, South, West or East For OG is the colour of Unity, in diversity He fights till his last breath making his life sublime Comes home he swathed in tri-color A reminder to a nation in debt That dedicating his life as a True Indian is a Soldier’s Foremost Honour!

My monumental mission: A poem by Mir Samsul Haque

Image
I wish every passing moment would leave me much pleased Amidst miscellaneous things maybe I'm excited but a bit anxious Never do I alter my stride nor reconcile with amoral situations I kick-start my every day so as to hit the big time of glorious thrill Never do I allow inadvertent lapses to devour my mission wholly As I keep burning my passions within, shunning the perverted way A crumbling condition is ought to be tided over with all certainty Night's dreaded darkness dwindles the very next day's sunshine A tree never stops blooming when it finds favorable clime A flower spreads its fast fragrance from far off forest A tiny bee swirls and whirls merrily day in and day out A bit of grit can salvage me from the downstream of time Enduring time's torments, recounting sweet spent days Shedding no tears of remorse, nor been broken by lamentation Proclaiming new renewal, disowning dire straits like a valiant soldier There's an end to eerie woes for I see wear

Unity in diversity: A poem by Jayashree Bhattacherjee

Image
Unity in diversity Unity without uniformity A dynamic display of various rhythms of life The world's song sung in unison, its melody running rife We all are ingrained in the world's complex tapestry That defines diversity to which we attribute our unity As oceans, deserts, land and rocks complement each other Let us also welcome, know and respect one another Diverse culture, religion, caste or creed Yet the world is a family indeed In unity we make a beauty so wonderfully true We are like rainbows enhanced by every hue Unity in diversity is a magical catalyst to potential utopia Let us make it no place for nightmarish dystopia Our own uniqueness we always do maintain Yet through unity harmony and happiness we try to attain Love, understanding, and wisdom, if shared with each other Our bonding becomes stronger with a strength beyond compare Made of same flesh and blood, let us blend our voice To kill all prejudice, ego, class or color of choice

Dare to speak up: A poem by Mehak Gupta Grover

Image
Have the potency and dare to speak up. Don't hesitate  for truth is never erroneous.               Courage- the most brawny element, that marks the presence of purity. Be the master of your muniment and sparkle with the sway of positivity. Our society is becoming feign with no veritable jubilation.  All are egotistical and abandon the verity beyond the horizon. Let's stand for probity, Be lion-hearted, For immaculacy is the key to stand amalgamated.

Dare to speak up: A poem by R.N. Padhy

The bravest man was Mahatma Gandhi Who always dared to speak up the truth Why that spirit is not in us? Don't we need to lead life smooth? Dare to speak up what is right Fear, not death, drive away devils Against darkness always fight Let all try to finish all the evils. Be with them who dare to speak up the truth Think about the future to save the human race Never be blind followers of any evil Your noble attempt can win God's grace. Let us lead lives in the right path Let's dare to speak up the sacred truth Never allow evil clouds to cover our sky For a bright future let's prepare our youth. The way to Heaven is for the right ones Let's choose that, not the way to hell Let's enjoy heavenly peace being truth lover Heaven welcomes us, don't prefer hell to dwell.

Everyday is a new start: A poem by Jayashree Bhattacherjee

Image
In the dark, depressive, solitary night approaching the dawn When the world knew not the struggle undergone Tears rolled down my cheeks, deep down it hurt All hopes ended, from where to start? Silently I moved towards the window, and lo! I was wrapped up in a  wondrous celestial glow Sunrays peeped through ushering in a new dawn The beginning of a day, it filled me with adoration The sweet aroma of the air touched my thought To rise and grow was the message it brought Yonder, a flower bloomed loving and smiling today From a bud that contained the seed of life yesterday My eyes, beauty of the world did greet With a new mind, I resolved not to retreat Life will have its twists and turns, ups and downs But a new day can wipe off all the frowns Every day the light of vibrancy will stir our soul Positive thoughts will help us to reach our goal I was totally changed, and even in my solitude I thanked the universe, full of my gratitude With every new day, I learn to make a new start Fresh

Every day is a new start: A poem by Azucena Libiran Gonzales

Who says that every setback must be final? Frustrations are just stop-signs; an indicator, instructional What cannot be attained today, possibly  be yours tomorrow Every day is a new start, have a plan to follow. Life is like a wheel that keeps on turning Stand firm, never hesitate to make a beginning Valuable lessons flow your course when the project is delay Remember, the road to success is uphill all the way. The quest for victory is a long journey to commence on Hold still for the battles of life; part of the preparation Honestly reflect and evaluate the failures of yesterday Every day is a new start, take one step today. Whatever barriers cause you to believe your goal is impossible Whatever negative notes make your dream seems unreachable Animate your plans with enthusiasm, patience, and perseverance Every day is a new start; have self-confidence, reliance. Cast out disappointment, create better option instead Every day is a new start, p

I dare to speak up: A poem by Mukesh Kumar Badgaiyan "krishnadhar Diwedi"

Yes!  I dare to speak  When all are kept mum  Everywhere  There is meaningless noise  No peace....  Thugs are appointed  As the watchmen  Waiting all for others  To speak . They are looking the injustice  No witnesses to the ignorant.  But I will speak aloud...  Standing alone  At the top of the mountain  So that  The whole world can listen  The truth of truth  Now the time has come  To use the mighty pen  With red ink...  Not only to think  But to act, right now  I will be the beginner..  Who will end, no matter.  I will do my best  Never I become satisfied with better ... Yes! I will be the beginner  With no choice.

When I look into my eyes: A poem by Dr. Molly Joseph

When I look into my eyes, I see a calm, that has settled after countering many storm.. the eyes that have seen riots of colours, revels galore, and the emptiness that spreads When crowds leave, keeping the stage vacant.... Hah! I have seen people in love, people at war, for reasons silly, they knew not... Looking...learning... I explore myself the teenager the mountain roe, the demure lass waiting for a glance, the one who run and won the lemon spoon race of life, picking balance.. hah! looking...learning..
