Beautiful people do not just happen: A poem by R. N. Padhy

It takes time to build castles
Pyramids are not built in a day,
To make something most beautiful
Some take strains in a complete way.

Plants look colorful with decent flowers
Their fragrance spreads in the air,
The gardener must be praiseworthy
Who takes their care from the chair.

So are the lives of human beings
Who bear all pains to make life scented,
Beautiful people do not just happen
They care with the dare to get their lives nicely painted.

With parents sacrifice and nature's blessing
Human plants grow bulky in size,
Divine grace and perseverance
Makes people beautiful, healthy and wise.

Self-help is the best help
Beautiful people know it well,
They do the needful in good time
To ring their lives victory bell.
