Me and My Diary: A Poem by Anindita Mazumdar

Colors, canvas, easel and brushes.
Gentle strokes of splendid lushes.
Eyes twinkle and heart while slushes.
Opaline enigma from palette when gushes.

Me and my diary of this soul.
Makes me complete, makes me whole.

Tempo, timbre, melody and form.
Tune, harmony, pitch fairest norm.
Sincere, virtuous way to perform.
Changes the world and raises a storm.

Me and my diary of this soul.
Makes me complete, makes me whole.

Message, viewpoint, rhythm and rhyme.
Poesy consummates to be sublime.
Discovering and flourishing for quite sometime.
Getting submerged in this mystical hymn.

Me and my diary of this soul.
Makes me complete, makes me whole.

Opening, aura, style and essence.
Embraces often blissful lessons.
Probabilities diverge in absolute presence.
Essential notion with ethnic credence.

Me and my diary of this soul.
Makes me complete, makes me whole.

Distance posed well to traverse.
With painting, music, poetry and verse.
Sink gently and intersperse.
Revered galaxy and universe.

Me and my diary of this soul.
Makes me complete, makes me whole.
