You are in love: A poem by Kishor Kumar Mishra

When the red canopies of gold mohur
Eclipse the blue sky in summer
You know you are in love.

When the green carpets cover the ground
Birds chirp in showers of monsoon morn
You know you are in love.

When the flowers smile in a colorful canvas
And shake their heads with the autumn breeze
You know you are in love.

When morning sun rays scatter on greens
And golden beads sparkle in dew morning
You know you are in love.

When you see the snow-clad mountains
While still under the quilt on winter bed
You know you are in love.

When new leaves and flowers blossom
Cool spring breeze rustle through leaves
You know you are in love.

When amorous calls of seasons entice you
You know you are in love.
