Loved you then, love you still...: An article by Rakesh Chandra

Childhood is the age when the soft feeling of love nurtures slowly but surely.
Unknowingly we come closer to anybody we like and this feeling of liking each-other is transformed into attraction. And if this relationship lasts long, this attraction gives way to the bright feeling of love .
However, the paths of life are not always straight! Often, the childhood love or we may call it "puppy love" vanishes into a thin year for the simple reason that either of the two love-birds leaves the place due to various reasons. But this early shock is pushed to the background because that period consists of studies and career- building. Then, the stage of service, business or other such things related to livelihood arrives. We are almost submerged into the whirls of the life cycle and we lose track of our old flames. Marriages finally put a seal on the lovely feelings of childhood or the teens.
But do we really forget our childhood flames? Certainly not. In the evening of our life, we feel more inclined to meet old friends and flames alike. Old memories and the moments of selfless love captivates our mind and we become restless. The feeling of love never diminishes rather it grows in brighter aura to haunt us !! Then we realize that we actually love them more than several years ago. The distances inflame the passion of love. That is why we say " love you then, love you still"...That is the feeling of love, that is the power of love !!
