Imagination: A poem by Shamsul Haq

A string of images come to the nimble mind
A wisp of fuzzy fog of the winter's misty morn
A series of  silent sighs echoing eerily in still night
The moon and parting stars- Aha, cosmic joy in turn;

Sweet reminisces that suffuse mind's each cell
The fantastical fond memories of yester years that stand tall
Entrancing enchantment and romantic ramblings
A remote haunt muses unusually meandering mind's trail;

Bristle sand dunes in the coral beds
Tranquil bay by the tumultuous sea
Imaginative narratives- full of grace;
Nature's nuances- an inexplicable glee;

Incite unexplored muses a thousand times
A shade of imagination of exquisite kind
An eternal quest for quintessential beauty
Food for thought for the inquisitive mind.
