PRESS RELEASE: 1st ASIAN LITERARY CONFLUENCE 2018

Asian Literary Society, the brainchild of writer Manoj Krishnan, is an year old literary and creative group with sixteen thousand members on board. It is successfully run by Krishnan and nine very efficient administrators.  The group aims in spreading awareness amongst the global population about the rich Asian Literature, fostering and nurturing the culture of reading and writing . The Society,provides an excellent platform to creative minds not only through daily writings, but also by curating exciting contests and competitions for the members.

Asian Literary Society hosted their first ever mega event- "1st Asian Literary Confluence, 2018", on the 14th of October at the Railway Officers Club, New Delhi. The literary event was kick started with the welcome address of the Founder/ President, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Guests of Honours and the Ambassadors of the society, to the chanting of the Saraswati Shloka by it's Admins.

This was duly followed by motivating and inspirational speeches, mostly on Lierature by the Guests of Honours, namely, eminent writers Dr. Santosh Bakaya, Ms. Lily Swaran, Ms. Satbir Chadha and renowned publisher/ writer Mr. Sudarshan Kcherry , of Authorspress.

The Society's Ambassadors, kept up the tempo with things they had to say about literature, both Indian and Asian and also about the contribution of Asian Literary Society to the cause of Lierature. Ambassador Amarendra Khatua was the first to speak, followed by eminent writers Ms. Neelam Chandra Saxena, Ms. Kiren Babal and Dr. Mridula Tandon, the Founder / President of the NGO Sakshi .

Two speeches, one in English and the other in Hindi, each were delivered by writers/admins. The topics were : Asian Literature-the undertone of being united in diversity because of a colonial past (English) and Dakshin Purva Asiai sanskriti me Ramayan ki bhumika (Hindi).

This was followed by a string of book launches, that saw veterans as well as first time published authors/poets. Noteworthy were two twin sister poets of just ten years and also a teenage writer of class twelve. 

A beautiful segment of recitations and readings followed suit. The writers read from their own books. Some guests too recited their own poems. All in all a very enriching and creative segment .

The award segment witnessed many an award being presented to writers, poets, authors. The Guests of Honours and the ALS Ambassadors were honoured too. The people who had sponsored memorial awards were also felicitated. "Star Bard" awards were presented to two International writers, in absentia. The diligent and hardworking administrators were also presented with the "Wordsmith Extraordinaire" award. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by one of the seniormost administrators, thanking each and everyone who graced the occasion with their presence, the guests of honours, the ambassadors and also all the contributors whose efforts had helped Asian Literary Society come a long way within a span of one year.

1st ALS Literary Confluence, 2018..a  great literary event( considering that the group is just an year old), managed well by the Founder/ President of Asian Literary Society and his team of Administrators, who happen to be all women, setting an excellent example of equality amongst genders in today's world of gender biases.

पहला एशियन लिटेररी काॅन्फ्लूएन्स ( साहित्यिक संगम) 2018

 एशियन लिटेररी सोसायटी जो लेखक मनोज कृष्णन की कृति है, बस साल भर पुरानी, साहित्यिक और रचनात्मक ग्रुप है। एक छोटे से समयकाल मे 16000 इस ग्रुप के साथ जुड़ चुके हैं। कृष्णन इसे बखुबी चला रहे हैं अपने दस बहुत ही कर्म निष्ठ प्रशासकों की सहायता से। ग्रुप का मकसद है एशियाई साहित्य के बारे विश्व स्तर पर जागरुकता लाना। लिखने पढ़ने द्वारा साहित्य के प्रति रुचि सृजन के अलावा यह ग्रुप एक उत्तम मंच है जो लेखकों को ना केवल उनके लेखों से बल्कि कई काॅन्टेस्ट और प्रतियोगिताओं से भी उनके लेखन कला को प्रोत्साहित करता है। 

एशियन लिटेररी सोसायटी ने हाल ही में, 14 अक्तूबर, 2018 को अपना पहले बड़े कार्यक्रम का संयोजन किया, रेलवे ऑफिसर्स क्लब, नयी-दिल्ली मे । कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत संस्थापक/ अध्यक्ष के स्वागत सम्बोधन से हुआ । तदोपरान्त द्वीप प्रज्जवलित कर सरस्वती श्लोक के स्वरों के बीच हुई।

इसके बाद अतिथिगणों के सम्मुख ओजपूर्ण और प्रेरणादाई वक्तृतायें पेश किये गये। सभी विशिष्ट अतिथिगणों  ने, नामतः मशहूर कवयित्री/ लेखिकायें डा.संतोष बकाया जी, श्रीमति लिली स्वर्ण जी, श्रीमति सतबीर चड्ढा जी और विख्यात प्रकाशक/ लेखक श्री सुदर्शन केचरी जी( ऑथर्सप्रेस) ने साहित्य पर अपने-अपने विचार रखे। 

सोसायटी के एम्बैसेडरों ने कार्यक्रम की गति को आगे चलायमान रखा, एशियाई और विश्व साहित्य के बारे में अपने विचार और साहित्य के प्रति एशियन लिटेररी सोसायटी की देन के बारे में चर्चा कर। सबसे पहले देश के भूतपूर्व राजदूत श्री अमरेन्द्र खटुआ ने संबोधन किया और उसके बाद विख्यात लेखिका श्रीमति नीलम चंद्रा सक्सेना, श्रीमति किरण बाबल और एन.जी.ओ साक्षी की संस्थापिका ने अपने विचार व्यक्त किये।

ग्रुप के दो प्रशासक/ लेखिकायें मेहमानों से मुखातिब हुईं अपने लेखों के साथ:

 1. Asian Literature-the undertone of being united in diversity because of a colonial past(अंग्रेज़ी में) 

2. दक्षिण पूर्व एशियाई संस्कृति मे रामायण की भुमिका (हिन्दी मे) । 

 

इसके बाद कई नई किताबों के विमोचन का दौर चला, जिनमें नामी लेखकों/ कवियों के किताबों व संग्रहों के विमोचन के साथ, नये, पहली बार प्रकाशित लेखकों की किताबों के भी विमोचन हुये। ग़ौरतलब थे दो, दस वर्षीया, कवयित्री, जुड़वा बहनों की किताब का व एक बारहवीं कक्षा के किशोर कवि के किताब का विमोचित होना।

एक बहुत ही खूबसूरत भाग था पठन और पाठन का। लेखक- लेखिकाओं ने अपनी किताबों से पढ़ा एवं कविता पाठ भी किये। कुछ मेहमानों ने भी ज़ोर शोर से अपनी कवितायें सुनाई। पूर्णतः अलंकृत और सृजनातमक क्षण थे यह ।

कई पुरस्कार वितरित हुये। सभी कवि, लेखक को कोई ना कोई पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। विशिष्ट अतिथिगणों एवं ए.एल.एस के एम्बैसेडरों को भी सम्मानित किया गया। जिन्होंने अपने परिजनों की याद में कोई पुरस्कार प्रायोजित किया था, उनका भी अभिनंदन किया गया। दो अंतरराष्ट्रीय लेखकों को "Star Bard" पुरस्कार दिये गये (अनुपस्थित में)। सभी दसों, कर्मठ और मेहनती प्रशासकों को "Wordsmith Extraordinaire" पुरस्कार प्रदान किये गये।

कार्यक्रम का समापन, ग्रुप की सबसे व्यस्क प्रशासक द्वारा दिये गये धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ हुआ। उन्होंने हर उस व्यक्ति का शुक्रिया अदा किया जिन्होंने अपनी उपस्थिति से कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई, सभी उपस्थित विशिष्टअतिथिगणों का, एम्बैसेडरों का तथा हर उस अभिदाता का जिनके योगदान और प्रयासों की वजह से एशियन लिटेररी सोसायटी एक वर्ष के छोटे से समय में इतनी लम्बी दूरी तय कर पाई।

पहला एशियन लिटेररी काॅन्फ्लूएन्स, 2018...एक भव्य साहित्यिक कार्यक्रम ( ये ध्यान में रखते हुए कि ग्रुप की उम्र अभी केवल एक साल है), जिसका प्रबंधन संस्थापक/अध्यक्ष मनोज कृष्णन और उनकी प्रशासकों की टीम ने बहुत ही बढ़िया तरीके से किया- प्रशासक जो सभी महिलायें हैं । आज के जेंडर पक्षपात के युग में यह ग्रुप एकता और समानता की एक बेहतरीन मिसाल कायम करता है।
